stolen just before he was planning to propose to his longtime girlfriend
Emma, hapless (but criminally violent) romantic Mike enlists the aid of
his four best mates in getting the ring back so he can ask Emma's hand
in marriage as planned. Over the course of the next hour, this four-man
army will run, fight, and blast their way through the Auckland underworld
on a single-minded mission to ensure that Mike's marriage gets off to a
proper start. Unfortunately for the thieves - and anyone else who happens
to get in the gang's way - quite a few people will die in the process.
Shot on steadycam-mounted digital cameras over the course of just five
days, You Move You Die utilizes a series of extended takes (some as long
as nine minutes) in order to truly immerse the viewer in the action.
